How to actually recover from binge eating?

Full recovery from emotional and binge eating is possible if you are focusing on the right things. Most people focus on the aftermath (the binge) and they try to make plans how this will never ever happen again.

They say to themselves:” This is the last time”….only it never is, is it?

it’s never the last time because they are focusing on the wrong thing : instead of why the binge happened and why do I use food the way I do, they focus on how can I rectify this mistake, what bidet should I be doing, how much I need to exercise in order to burn all these calories I have eaten.

That’s a recipe for disaster.
